These were the rules for the annual Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition that was held early in 2020. Owing to the corona virus pandemic, this competition will not be held in 2021. It is the orchestra’s hope that this event can be resumed in 2022, at which time it will be open to instrumentalists who are 19 years of age and younger as of December 1, 2021, and who are residents of Illinois. Relevant new information will appear at this website.
