Tamara Farrell

Title: Publicist and Music Librarian

Tamara Farrell is the publicist and music librarian for the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

She began working with the KSO in 2010 as the publicist, with big dreams that her six-year-old son might perform with the orchestra someday. The following year, she took on the additional role of music librarian just for fun.

Tammy says, “I am proud to know the fantastic musicians, board and volunteers of the KSO. I feel fortunate to be part of bringing beautiful music to the residents of DeKalb County and beyond.”

A former high school English teacher, Tammy’s fulltime career is in healthcare communications for Northwestern Medicine. Tammy enjoys live music (especially when her son is performing with the KSO), traveling, art and animals. She lives in DeKalb with her husband Robb, son Reilly, and numerous fur babies.
