Concerto Competition

The 2026 Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition competition will be held live and open to the public at no charge, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the Music Building at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, from 10:00 a.m. to about 5:00 p.m.

In addition to receiving a cash award of $500, the winner of the competition will perform at the concert of the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra at the Northern Illinois University Music Building, DeKalb, Illinois, February 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
