Instrument Grant Application

DeKalb County music educators are invited to apply for an annual grant to aid in the purchase of orchestra and band instruments to lend to students in need, and to provide monetary support for instrument repairs. Grant recipients are required to submit an evaluation report at the end of the school year as part of their grant agreement.

Please submit completed application below no later than Sunday, JUNE 16, 2024.

If your grant request is approved, please provide the mailing address and the recipient's name for the grant check.

    Please upload a general description of your grant request including the purpose, objectives, impact of your request; how you will evaluate the effect of this music education plan; and specific individual cost estimate of the instrument(s) you wish to purchase. You must include specific dollar amount for each instrument you wish to purchase with this grant.
    Grant recipients are required to submit a report in the spring explaining the use of your grant funds - how it influenced your music program, and the impact on the lives of your music students. Photos that we can publish of students with the instruments purchased or repaired with your grant are requested, but not required.
