Instrument Grant Evaluation

DeKalb County music educators grant recipients are required to submit a year-end report as part of your grant agreement. Your feedback is extremely helpful and appreciated! Please explain how the use of your grant funds influenced your music program, and the impact on the lives of your music students. Please provide feedback to the questions below. Photos that we can publish of students with these instruments are also requested, but not required.

  • How, specifically, did you use the grant funds? Please list instruments purchased, rented, or repaired and the associated costs.
  • How many students were served?
  • Did those students continue throughout the year?
  • Do those students plan to continue next year?
  • Is there any evidence/encouragement of increased interest by other students to participate in music, if they have such an opportunity to use an instrument?
  • Do you have any suggestions for improving this program or any additional comments?
