Phil Pasterak is a professional engineer, responsible for managing the eastern rail and transit practice of WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global transportation and infrastructure firm. He serves as program manager for the Illinois Department of Transportation’s groundbreaking Chicago-St. Louis high speed passenger rail corridor program, now under construction. He has supported rail projects throughout the United States and Great Britain. He has played the violin since fifth grade, and met his wife, Kristina, in a community orchestra, similar to the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, in Cleveland, OH. Kris has played in the KSO horn section. They have a daughter Alexandra, who has attended KSO concerts since the age of 4.
